We don’t usually work with coffees from Burundi, but this one stood out enough for us to keep it in the lineup.
On the cupping table, it came across sweet and fruit-forward, but in a slightly different way from what we’re used to.
It felt softer, more rounded, and easier to approach. Not as sharp, but still expressive enough to hold its place.
We liked that it offered something familiar, but just slightly different.
Berries, dried fruit, soft citrus.
