Kii Factory is part of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga, where smallholder farmers grow coffee at high elevations on rich volcanic soils. The coffee goes through multiple stages of fermentation, washing, and soaking before drying—a process that helps preserve the clarity and vibrant acidity Kenyan coffees are known for.

It’s been a while since we had a Kenya on our filter menu, and honestly, it’s one of my personal favourites. A clear first crack gave us confidence to develop the roast while balancing its sweetness and acidity.
